The guns and missiles
have ceased, but the war has altered the lives
of tens of thousands of Lebanese. Following the
ceasefire agreement, many are now returning to
their homes to find them destroyed, burned or
no longer habitable.
In addition, Lebanon's towns and villages are
riddled with danger – unexploded bombs, missiles
and cluster bombs lie strewn amid destroyed bridges
and damaged roads.
But despite the shocking images and the harrowing
accounts of suffering, there is an acute shortfall
of money raised for those caught up in the conflict.
Based on a series of conversations with municipal
leaders and representatives of organisations active
in Southern Lebanon, Lebanon Aid is urgently appealing
for funds to reach those affected by the crisis:
for family of five for a week
materials for family of five
aid kit for family of five

Lebanon Aid is responding to the immediate and
urgent needs of tens of thousands of Lebanese
and your help is desperately needed.
